I highly recommend Wrexham University.

(5)·By Tiegan W·Nursing· Jun 2026
As a 23-year-old woman who is suffering with undiagnosed ADHD and undergoing tests, I tend to struggle with the academic side of my course. However, all of the tutors I have come across at Wrexham University have been amazing in supporting me and reassuring me that I am capable of anything I put my mind to. I feel really comfortable at Wrexham University, and I believe the staff make time for students individually, so you don’t get lost in the crowd. I am really enjoying my time there as a second-year student, and I recommend the university to anyone wanting to develop their studies.

I love it.

Despite student life being a financial struggle, I absolutely love being at university and studying nursing. I have found my passion for what I love and want to do, and my university is so helpful and supportive.

Wrexham University

I enjoy spending time with the friends I have made on the course. The course is fun and engaging, the lecturers really care about you, and everyone on campus is friendly. I am part of the student ambassador scheme, which I enjoy. I live close, so it only takes me 10 minutes to get there, which is great. It is easy and reliable for me to get there, but there is also public transport available, and it is reliable. Nothing could be better; I enjoy it all.

Great university

Great university, , very understanding and helpful staff and lecturers. Very welcoming to all kinds of people. A range of courses available, and a wide range of societies and clubs to join. The campus is easy to find and there are signs all over the campus to help you find buildings.

Great University

(5)·By Chris W·Sports· Jun 2023
For me, university was great. I enjoyed being able to easily socialise with other students. I was able to quickly get introduced to a sports team and from there friendships grew. University itself was great, the lecturers were really helpful and the course has helped me to be further involved in sports and teaching.

Psychology / Criminology, Year 3

(5)·By Elise S·Psychology· Jul 2021
As I lived at home my first year, I was slightly secluded because of limited public transport. Freshers events organised by the uni were very friendly with lots of free stuff. I never lived there, it was a little outdated but constantly being improved. The student union is fantastic. Personal 1-2-1 with lecturers who always know your name and care about you as an individual. Small town but perfect. Supermarkets and shops in walking distance and a good nightlife.

Wrexham University (St Asaph Campus)

(4.3)·By Maddison O·Nursing· Jun 2026
I’m doing an adult nursing course at Wrexham University at the St Asaph campus. The course is great—very busy but well structured, and the placement opportunities are excellent. However, since it’s not the main campus, the social life is limited. The commute is also okay; it’s about a 20-minute easy drive.
