The classes are very small, so help with assignments and exams is very good.

Commuting to classes is easy when staying in accommodation, as the main building is only a couple of minutes' walk from the university building.

Law, Third Year

I am actually studying at the University of The west of England but I haven't been able to identify it on the above list so I have picked the nearest one. I can say that my experience has been...unique. there have been good and bad moment and like every other student. I found it difficult in the beginning to balance a work, education and social life, however I have since learnt to juggle them.

Use provides me as a student with great opportunities to get involved, to develop and to acquire more knowledge in different areas. It makes you want to come.our of your comfort zone, and that in my view, is where the magic happens.

Feels more like college than a university.

Freshers events don’t really exist, and the ones that do aren’t well attended. Club life is okay; we have two clubs nearby, and Bristol is a train ride away.

Accommodation is good but expensive, though I’d say it’s definitely worth it—big beds, mostly large rooms, en-suites, and spacious kitchens. The commute from accommodation is less than five minutes, sometimes ten depending on the campus. Puxton Park is a bus ride away, and the university provides a bus pass for travel to and from there.

Lessons feel more like college classes than lectures. Teachers don’t communicate with each other well; some are really good, while others seem confused. All teachers are kind, understanding, and try their best.

There aren’t really any big events like dances or dinners, mainly just game nights. Societies aren’t very good either.

Overall, it’s a good university if you want to keep to yourself and your friends and prefer small classes over large ones; otherwise, I wouldn’t choose it.
