Student life's great! Amazing course, definitely recommend!

University allows you to be really independent; if you make new friends, you can go out and have fun. I really enjoy my course; I’ve always wanted to do nursing, and the placements are really good. My flatmate and I always go out for drinks and food, have free time, watch films, and play games – it’s amazing.

I love the University of York. The campus accommodation makes it feel like the perfect step between university and full adulthood, like a student version of Center Parcs! I love living so close to many students instead of moving straight into the middle of a big city. The student nights out are great too for the same reason. On top of that, I love my course - the split of seminar to lecture time is perfect, and recorded lectures help with any missed notes. Also, the access to a personal tutor is great. I could not recommend this university more.

Allows me to see what other students think at their university and compare all aspects individually to find a happy medium when choosing a university.

The course is fascinating and layered with various topics. The teaching is engaging and enthusiastic, and the material is research-based and important. York is a lovely picturesque city with a small friendly atmosphere and a fun buzzing nightlife that isn't too large or overwhelming. There is lots to do, and the social life and student Union are full of opportunities and wide-ranging societies. The accommodation is comfortable and convenient, although expensive. I love it here.

I have thoroughly enjoyed studying PPE at York. The course integrates the three subjects well and makes you feel like you belong to a course rather than feeling like you're one-third of each discipline. York overall is amazing - I love the college system, it makes you feel at home and is such a good way to organize sport.

A fantastic university with great facilities and staff, always willing to go the extra mile

My university experience has been very interesting so far I have came across many different societies and people from different backgrounds i s as an individual from an ethnic background it has been difficult to sit in per say to university experiences when there is such a large drinking and partying culture which is something not everyone is interested in.it If I was able to change one thing about my experience I would make sure other activities beside drinking were possible.

It is a university in one of the most gorgeous areas of the UK. It has that 'posh feel to it, if you know what I mean! The tutors and students are quite friendly. Because it is the city is small it's far easier to navigate as well. My program leader was so thorough with her explanation it made total sense what she was exalpining even though it was quite a hard topic.

The university has a welcoming atmosphere which is only supported by its collegiate structure within which sports and social activities are encouraged. There is wildlife and it attempts to be environmentally friendly.
The course is full of helpful staff members and science led.
