This university is absolutely amazing for me! I am currently on the undergraduate course for sport and exercise science, and it is fantastic. We have a great mix of practical sessions, seminars, and lectures from a variety of brilliant tutors and lecturers with real work experience. The assessment pattern for this course is great as well, with a manageable workload that is easy to keep up with. Student life here is amazing too, with plenty of options for socialising on campus and in accommodation, as well as a wide range of activities, clubs, pubs, and art venues in town, all easily accessible via the excellent bus network the city offers. If walking isn’t your thing, link cards are available free to all students, cutting all transport prices in half at any time of day or week.

There is a lot of excellent, spacious accommodation on campus and more at Manor Park, just a short 15-minute walk from campus (where I stay). The university provides fantastic facilities in accommodation, including common rooms, study spaces, food and drink options, social spaces, laundry rooms, and gyms nearby, including the Surrey Sports Park just two minutes away from the Manor Park accommodation blocks.

The university has a seemingly endless list of societies and clubs, offering something for everyone—from baking, wine tasting, and religious support groups to extreme sports, pole club, and film society. There is genuinely something for everyone at this university, even if you don’t join a society. Whether you’re quiet and reserved or social and extroverted, there is so much to do both by yourself and with friends, both in town and on campus.

I love it, and it's so easy to get around. The nightlife is perfect.

The course has been great and I feel it has prepared me well for my career of choice. I have enjoyed both campuses. There are good facilities at Stag Hill particularly for study spaces.

I have been studying paramedic science instead of nursing and it’s been great. The lecturers are supportive if you reach out, and the course has taught me everything I need to register as a paramedic. University life has been the best 3 years of my life, meeting such a wide range of people and making some friends for life. The campus feels safe and there is lots of support academically and in other areas.

The course is fabulous, it is so interesting and I have learned so much. All the societies are so great, and Surrey just excels. The campus is so lively and I love it. I would recommend it to all my friends, Rubix is my favorite club and Lewis Jayes is my favorite lecturer. #iheartsurrey #proudtobesurrey #slayqueens

Fascinating modules on British politics, contemporary history, and democracy allow for extensive learning on the topic.

I like the university. It could improve in its communication, but it's great.

Biology as a course is challenging but well-taught. The university is full of greenery and has beautiful scenery. The accommodations are also great, with new buildings available.
