Everything is great.

Great university with a variety of accommodation options and numerous societies to join! The lecturers are friendly and supportive, and I am enjoying the diverse modules we are studying in the course.

If you are looking for a campus based university with a diverse range of courses then Reading is a great choice. Set in beautiful grounds but also in close proximity to the busy shops and entertainment of the city centre, Reading has a wide variety of courses at differing levels. The level of teaching is excellent across the university and there are many extracurricular societies and clubs to join bringing a good social side to a student's academic study. A really fantastic place to live and study.

Reading university allowed me to have a great all round experience, with great halls and social events along with an enjoyable, fulfilled course with lots of opportunity

I am a master student from food science
Studied the following courses;Food sustainability, food chemistry, food microbiology, research skills and development, project/dissertation, sensory science, food safety and quality and food taints and off-odors

Throughout my study here, i have learnt a lot of things leaving the fact that i am an international student. This university is the best university i have ever seen, this is my second masters i have done my first masters in China but i am testifying the quallity of education in this university is on another level. The teachers are very good encouraging students to critically think in evrything of which this has really helped a lot not only in studies but also in other aspects of life. It helps to solve a lot of problems that one might not think of.

Despite the fact that i am international student, i have never experienced racism in this university not at all. I feel comfortable to go anywhere around the campus even outside the campus. The environment is so welcoming and encouraging dtudents to archieve their goals academically.

How i wish i had come to do my undergraduate here and continue with masters in this university i would have learnt a lot. I am pround that soon i am going to be a graduate from this University.

Almost all of my courses have lab work. I liked how the lab facilities in this University full of high tech advanced equipements with everything that you need this has helped many students to conduct their research successfully.
All the courses i have learnt so far are the best with well skilled teachers. I am really happy to be here.

If I was to sum up university life in a song it would be "I hate u, I love u"!

I studied Environmental Earth Science from 2004-2007, mainly as I was torn between meteorology and geology, however the course was very diverse and I studied everything from biodiversity, to geophysics and forensic geology.
The lecturers were very knowledgeable and the field work was amazing.
Now I am in the oil and gas industry as a business development manager, helping the UK North Sea sector to safely and effectively plug and abandon old wells, such that we do not impact the environment.
Reading is a fantastic city to study in, and the campus is beautiful, with one of the largest collections of trees in the U.K.

I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and interacting positively during lectures. It has improved my confidence and social skills. I'm looking forward to the rest of my university years.
