I love studying at Glasgow, but I love the people and experience even more!

The course is flexible and I think it will provide lots of opportunities. Although there is a heavy workload, it is interesting.

My experience here was excellent. The support was also extremely good and the course was very enjoyable.

I have loved my time at the University of Glasgow. There is a wide range of degrees available and the lecturers are passionate about their subjects. One of the main reasons I picked this university is the wide range of sports and clubs available to students. I picked up a new sport in my first year and enjoyed playing for the 2's BUCS team. The campus is easy to navigate and the staff are super helpful if you get lost. The support I have received from my lecturers, particularly in my final year, has been incredible.

Studying dentistry at Glasgow was a eye-opening and memorable experince. We had a lot of training on dummy ' phantom' heads in second year and by the end of second year, we started treating patients in pairs. As Glasgow is a big city there's quite a large desparity in oral care, so the dental school never ran out of patients. The only thing, like other dental school in Scotland, COVID limited how many patients we saw on a daily basis whcih sadly was only 2/day! And so we had to do an extra year (paid for by the Scottish government). Glasgow socially is outstanding as it has top-class museums, cycle ways, lots of places to eat and well rounded people. Other than that I've made friends for life, made me appraciate my parents more, and become a dentist to help the community.

I'm currently in my 3rd year of Digital Media and Information Studies at the University of Glasgow and I really enjoy it! The lecturers are all great! I enjoy the work as it is a really unique course, in honours you really get to adapt it to your own interests. However I didn't enjoy 1st or 2nd year as much, I didn't see the point in taking electives, I would've preferred to take more classes within the degree I signed up for. I found it hard to motivate myself with the electives so my advice would be so your research and pick the ones you want early!

Student life is also great! Maybe not as good as Strathclyde's, I prefer their bar but there is loads of bars in the west end that are nice. The hub and union's food is good and cheap and there are also some great societies to join

It was alright. The school organised quite a few events for us to get comfortable at the university. The enrolment process was quite confusing though. There's several dorms you could choose from, and from what I've seen they were quite nice. Usually it's 4-8 people per flat with each having a room of their own. The kitchen can get a bit crowded but it's nice to spend time there with others. The library is really lovely and spacious, with several elevators and areas for both studying and reading. The classrooms were pretty standard but the outside scenery of the Uni is really gorgeous (it really does look like Hogwarts). The lecturers were always kind and willing to help. I enjoyed all my lectures but found the amount of contact hours with our tutors to be a bit too low. Glasgow is just amazing. I love the city's architecture, the lovely people and the nightlife. The only thing I missed is that Glasgow is not nearly as diverse as London which is to be expected I suppose, but it is a shock when you've spent most your life in London.
