Review title for Ulster University Coleraine
(5)·By Ava O·Psychology· Jun 2024 I moved to Coleraine so I could live on campus while attending university. I was nervous and anxious before moving as I knew no one and was unfamiliar with the area. However, those feelings soon went away as on my first night on campus, I made some of the closest friends I know I will have for life. The accommodation exceeded my expectations; the rooms are clean and have enough space for me to do my university work. I share a shower and kitchen with other girls, and I have no complaints. The showers are always warm, and the kitchen facilities are perfect. One complaint I have is that the heating was never on long enough for me in the winter as I found it very cold, but luckily I had my electric blanket. Ulster University Coleraine campus is beautiful, and the building itself is huge, which was intimidating. The staff within the university are lovely, and my lecturers are always willing to help if I am ever stuck. The university has a range of social events within the student union, and their 24-hour library is perfect for those who study best at night like myself. For those who are scared to move far from home and meet new people, I would tell them not to worry at all and would really recommend it!
