Amazing site, amazing heritage, amazing buildings, amazing lecture theatres. Great lecturers and mentors. Good course, helpful staff. Great halls of residence in Camden and amazing social life, three unions to choose from and all of London to explore.

I was doing my teacher training so I didn't spend much time on campus. The teachers were very supportive and I felt that there was a good community. I am really glad to have been to a global university - it has been a really good experience.

My experience so far has been great and I feel like I got out of it exactly what I wanted and more. My sessions are informative, well-prepared and collaborative and all staff are approachable and knowledgable. The overall environment of my department is welcoming and I feel ready to go into the working world with the experience and knowledge I have gained from my course.

UCL has a bright bubbling campus. There are always activities and things going on within campus as you walk from lecture to lecture. People are so friendly and easily approachable. The teaching is of a high standard and module convenors are easy to contact for help. There could be more smaller study spaces and common areas for group work, especially since campus and libaries are always full. There are a few cute coffee shops on campus with affordable prices. Location is prime with lots of shops, pubs and food places.

UCL is diverse university, lots of cultural opportunities and multi societies to join. There is something for everyone and with it being in heart of London there are many opportunities it has to offer. Lived in halls for 1st now living home and commuting will live out again. Experience has been great and would recommend it to anyone .

I dont take part in Freshers week but i know a lot of events were advised and many groupchats were made from multiple societies each advertising an event. My friends met each other through Freshers week and said it was the perfect opportunity to socialise and meet new people. I think UCL have a very good balance of studying and fun and this is reflected with their freshers events Again, i live at home but ive been to friends', accommodation house. Price wise it is very affordable and anyways financial help is very readily availabel through UCL. The houses are perfect for students and very easy to find others to rent with through ucl accomodation social media set ups which really help ease the process. I love the UCL facilities and think it caters to everyone. There are multiple libraries with a variety of open hours ensuring 24/7 access. The staff are incredible too. I am part of the student union and applied because of its excellence and friendliness and events that they hosted. Sports facilities are also very good and affordable too, although i havent experienced it myself, my friend has. The curriculum is very clearly set out and logical and we are told of everything very well beforehand so no surprises and we have a clear idea of whats going on. The course is split very logically integrating work experience in every sector, as well as a variety of teaching such as lectures workshops seminars labs placements. The lectures are well spaced out and timed and the lecturers are very willing to explain London is an incredible city with multiple places available to socialise. UCL being located in Russel square is perfect and often its events involve going to london tourist sites. Food places as well in london are awesome and perfect place to socialise

It was really good, there were lots of fresher events organised by societies and the uni. Nights out were fun, became best friends with my flatmates and got to hang out with lots of other medics at medic events! I stayed at Astor College which was recently refurbished. It was amazing, the rooms are small (but so are all rooms in London) but very modern. The common room was beautiful and facilities were great. Security was a bit strict on guests unfortunately. Lots of choice with the libraries, the Student Centre is gorgeous but always full. My favourite was the Cruciform library for medics - good combination of work and socialising. Bloomsbury fitness had squash courts which is a huge bonus. Student union are a little hard to contact and slow to respond (from a society's perspective). Course was challenging but rewarding. Some lecturers are very passionate and are great at taking time to answer questions. Other sessions such as tutorials and anatomy labs were very enjoyable, but dry labs were pointless. Amazing, I have no regrets about staying in London. Always something to do, no matter how niche your interests are. Clubbing and night life is unparalleled.

Very exciting, constant parties and social events. Also attended lots of club nights in the best clubs in the UK, so can't complain. The location of the university is amazing, for those that like the busy city life. It has some great student bars, would highly recommend Phineas Bar. The student centre is a great new work place, really light. Lecture theatres are a bit hit and miss. The main library is probably one of the nicest university libraries. The lectures are all recorded and the notes they provided are very detailed and explain more than what is required for the course. When you get to third year you can chose from a wide range of modules allowing for a more tailored degree which is nice. It is great, there is always something going on. You can walk everywhere (been great during lockdown). All of your friends from home will want to come see you which is a plus.
