(5)·By Aine M·Accounting· Jun 2026 From unreal clubs to beautiful libraries, Belfast has it all. Queen's University is great for anyone who loves a bit of fun but also focuses on university work. Queen's provides so much support, offering many job fairs, a wide variety of clubs and societies, and amazing staff. The Queen's accommodation is very nice and a good way to meet people; all the residences are very close to the university and not too far from town. Everything is within walking distance, which is always a plus. I do advanced accounting, which has given me many great opportunities. I have made many friends in my course, and the lecturers are all good and always in their offices if you need help. The accounting society events are really fun, with formals, mystery bus tours, and other activities. If you want a bit of craic, Belfast is the place to be, with student club nights every night of the week and pub quizzes every night in the students' union. There are so many opportunities available in all areas. The social life is amazing, and there are so many things to do around campus, such as food spots. In particular, my favorite place is the library. It could possibly be one of the nicest buildings I have ever been in. I love Queen's and would really recommend it to anyone considering universities at the moment.
