Lovely time here!

(5)·By Tasneem T·Finance· Jun 2025
Studying in London has been an incredible experience. Not only have I had the opportunity to travel across Europe, but the academic environment here is truly inspiring. The professors genuinely care about your success and are deeply invested in your academic and personal growth. Office hours are emphasized, and it’s clear that the faculty want to see you thrive and make a difference in the world. This is a refreshing contrast to what I've heard from friends at other universities, where professors may not be as involved or supportive.

Beyond academics, Northeastern London offers a wide range of extracurricular activities and opportunities to get involved. And if there’s something you’re passionate about that doesn’t yet exist—you're encouraged to create it. My classmate and I did just that when we launched the Consulting Society here in London. What began as a small initiative has now grown into an international organization across multiple Northeastern campuses, with over 300 members.

The social environment is another highlight. Since it’s a smaller campus, it’s much easier to make meaningful connections. You often share classes with the same group of students, which naturally helps build close friendships.

The accommodation has also been great. I live at Chapter Spitalfields, which is conveniently located near everything I need—Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane, Liverpool Street Station—and just a 15–20 minute walk from campus. And fun fact: our school is located right next to Tower Bridge, so the view from campus is absolutely stunning.

Overall, this experience has been unforgettable. I wouldn’t trade it for anything, and I highly recommend Northeastern London to anyone considering it. Go here—you won’t regret it!

Amazing!!!

Studying at NU London has been an incredible experience, combining academic excellence with professional and personal growth. Its central location makes networking easy, providing direct access to industry leaders from firms like McKinsey, PwC, and Goldman Sachs. The exposure to real-world finance and consulting is unmatched.

The university offers a strong support system and endless extracurricular opportunities. I’ve joined multiple clubs, taken leadership roles, and even co-founded a Consulting Society, bringing in guest speakers from top companies. London itself is a vibrant city that fosters independence, cultural exposure, and continuous learning. NU London truly sets students up for success, both academically and professionally.

Small classes, excellent lecturers, and great value for money. Work experience opportunities are available, along with incredible student wellbeing and academic support. I feel very supported at NUL, everything I expected and more.

Supportive course, great facilities.

(4)·By Amanda S·Computer Science· Jun 2025
I am a distance learner, however I have attended boot camps and volunteering days at my university. The campus itself has brilliant facilities and is located right next to London Bridge and the Thames, which makes for a really lovely and convenient studying location. I stayed at the university accommodation during my boot camp, and the facilities were excellent—well-equipped rooms and a great location near Aldgate East tube station. I am studying the DTSP course and the content is engaging, with variations such as Netflix episodes, articles, TED talks, YouTube videos, etc.

Best place for the motivated

(4)·By Andrea A·Law· Jun 2024
The course is designed for high achievers, so if you're looking to blend in with the crowd, this is not the place for you. Similarly, with extracurricular activities, they offer numerous opportunities to become a student leader and pursue your interests. However, you cannot simply settle for a minor role; you must be motivated as the University does not provide financial support or a large student body to assist you. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and believe that nowhere else could have prepared me as effectively for an exceptional future.

Northeastern London review

(4)·By Kacey m·Law· Jun 2023
Excellent lectures that are enticing and absorbable. Great facilities for studying in groups or alone, specifically the silent study area.
I really appreciate the tutorials where you can receive feedback on your essays or just a general chat about the course - it gives students a chance to check in with their lecturers on a 1-1 basis.
Overall i have loved my first year at Northeastern university London.

NU London is the perfect size, it is small by design meaning you are a name, not a number. The class sizes are perfect for starting a debate or asking questions without fear of judgment.
The amount of opportunities that have been provided to me by the University is something I thought would never happen. Here at NU London, I believe I am fulfilling my potential for once in my life.
Amazing University, with an amazing work-life balance aided by the excellent support of lectures and career officers.

Would highly recommend it!!!

Great Teaching, Bad Admin

(4)·By Alistair B·Philosophy· Jun 2024
My impression of the university is that the teaching is fantastic. My professors are great and there are a lot of opportunities for 1-1 help, which is rare, especially at a place with such high caliber teaching. The admin at the university is quite bad though. Timetabling, student support, and registry are specifically quite slow, though I believe it is because they are small, overworked teams as opposed to incompetent people. They respond quite slowly and put out exam dates with very little time to prepare. I usually have great experiences with the finance and academic support teams, however. I also like the opportunities for interaction with staff through the student ambassador scheme, as it’s great for networking. The social is great as well, it’s a small uni and classes have a family vibe at this point.

Nice University!

(4)·By Rasika G·Economics· Jun 2023
Northeastern University London is unique compared to other universities in London. It has smaller class sizes which I prefer because it allows me to fully understand the content by being able to ask lecturers questions. Furthermore, the fact the university is small allows for socialising to be easier among students which has allowed me to make many different friends. The university campus itself is very modern and overall the atmosphere created is really nice. I really enjoy the space.

Nice campus but just ok social culture.

(3)·By Catherine K·Biology· Jun 2025
Northeastern University London Campus is a great satellite location for business majors and some STEM majors. The Devon House and Portsoken buildings are new and state-of-the-art with tea stations and clean restrooms, along with some beautiful views of Tower Bridge from extraordinary windows. My biggest qualm is the niche nature of the courses, which is to be expected from a satellite campus, along with the social club culture falling flat. Only the business clubs are active, and as a STEM major it was hard to get actively involved in uni culture in the UK.
