The diverse range of programs, coupled with world-class faculty, provides students with a stimulating learning environment. The central London location offers unparalleled opportunities for cultural and professional engagement. However, some may find the campus sprawling and facilities varied in quality. Overall, King's College London stands as a reputable institution, fostering intellectual growth and preparing students for success in their chosen fields.

King's College London, situated in the heart of the vibrant city of London, offers students a unique blend of academic and cultural opportunities. The proximity to renowned museums, theaters, and businesses provides a dynamic backdrop for learning. Excellent opportunities and quality of teaching

I’m in university accommodation about 10 minutes from Guy’s Campus, and it’s perfect. I spend a lot of my weekends out with people I’ve met through societies, which offer a great range for anything people are interested in. The degree I’m doing is great so far; I feel well supported in career opportunities and with my work, while still developing my academic independence.

KCL London Computer Science

(4)·By Jahan R·Computer Science· Jun 2026
All things considered, I think the modules are taught very well with the online videos provided, but I do feel that the in-person lectures are lacking, which is reflected in the attendance. Personally, the social life is quite strong, with lots of opportunities to meet others. My KCL-provided accommodation, while it has its issues, is overall very good and has an amazing location, although it is a bit overpriced.

I love the course, and student life is great in London. At first, I was a bit skeptical about going to university in a major city and not having a proper campus, but I’ve really enjoyed it. There are a lot of opportunities to join societies and clubs, so it never felt like I was missing out on the typical university experience.

Balance

(4)·By Simran M·Politics· Jun 2026
King's College London is the perfect university if you want a balance between social life and work. Being in the centre of London, with the Strand campus next to Covent Garden and all the top tourist attractions, there is always something to do. The work given for my course is not intense; it’s balanced and the modules are enjoyable. Moreover, there are many fun societies that host amazing events, making it easy to make friends and be sociable.

Life at King's

(4)·By Esme J·Politics· Jun 2025
Student life at King’s is good. Definitely you need to put yourself out there and not be afraid of new experiences, but when you do, you can have such an amazing time; the people I’ve met here are so much fun. Extracurricular activities at King’s are vast, with over 200 societies, making it easy to find one that suits me and helps me make lots of friends. They constantly keep you in the loop with research or job opportunities to enhance your time here. Uni accommodation is good and has amazing facilities to make it as sociable as possible.
