Bournemouth University

I loved Bournemouth. The accommodation has been amazing, with lovely staff and great facilities. Furthermore, I loved the various societies at university.

I have made some of my best friends ever in my accommodation and course. The commute to campus is easy and quick. We live opposite the club, which is amazing.

The area itself feels well balanced between quiet and busy – plenty of things to do as a student without being in such a rush or stuck in crowds like in big cities. The university is also a great learning environment, and I found student support from staff great, as well as a lovely and involved student union. As for the quality of education itself, I’ve learned a lot and feel that it is a good environment with lecturers who genuinely know their stuff.

Accommodation is very close to the university and they try to ensure that people in your flat are doing similar courses!

Student life in Bournemouth is great, not only is the social life great but the independence gained through going to university is also great. There are lots of places to visit and everything is within a walk or bus ride away. The student accommodations at Bournemouth University are within a walk of the shops, which is extremely convenient. As well as this, the commute to the main campus is also convenient as it’s only a short bus journey away. The scenery around Bournemouth is beautiful; the beach is a short walk away and is a great place to go for a relaxing stroll after a busy day at university. What could be better is that there could be more places to do activities other than walks and going out.

Student life is brilliant at Bournemouth University, you’ll never get bored with a continuous stream of activities during freshers and beyond, meeting lifelong friends, cooking meals together by day, and celebrating at a club by night.

The university and the student union organise so many events and opportunities for students, it's amazing! There's always something to get involved with, whether you do it for self-development, your CV, or just to have fun. Bournemouth generally has a lot to offer. It has lots of things to do and is very easy to get around :) I thoroughly recommend!
