Hospitality, leisure, recreation and tourism, Year 1

(4.5)·By Abigail E·Tourism / Transport / Travel· Oct 2018
So far, so good. On my second day we went to the lake to build rafts and we also went to the Escape Room. Classes have been great and there's amazing support available to help you through your first assignments. Campus is easy to get around and has a Starbucks which is a bonus for those Monday morning lectures. Getting along really well with my class and I'm really enjoying the uni life. I look forward to many nights out and last minute studying ahead!

Accounting, Graduate

It was splendid, we learned a lot through communication and how it affects the business world it is beautiful they offer a lot of courses and you're never alone facilities weren't the best but there were nearby facilities our tutor had covered everything and explained it neatly it was quite nice since we lived in the city centre

Blackpool and the Fylde College review

(4)·By Haris M·Management· Jun 2026
University is carried out remotely, which allows me to work from home and makes it easier to manage studying alongside my full-time role. As a degree apprentice, the university course supports my technical development and provides me with useful skills to implement in my work.

Coursework can be overwhelming and tricky without flow but everything else is okay.

Very good made lots of friends quickly, there were lots of different themes at different bars there are no halls, you choose out of the many student flats right opposite the university Good facilities all a decent size helpful tutors and course was tailored to suit what route we wanted to go down Uni and accommodation all very close to the town, everything in walking distance

Criminology, Third Year

(3.8)·By Amelia T·Psychology· Oct 2018
The experience I have really enjoyed. Most of the staff are very helpful and work with you to help ensure everyone does their best in assignments and exams. The style of teaching is one i prefer which is helpful as it helps me understand the subject and grasp the concepts quicker.

However the library could be better and I find it is always lacking in resources.

Great

My course has been good so far; it’s quite difficult, but that’s expected for aerospace engineering. They don’t have on-site accommodation, but that’s not a problem. However, the social scene could improve with more student events and gatherings.
