Inspire the next generation of learners by becoming a qualified primary school teacher. Our Primary Education course is highly rated, practical and accredited by the General Teaching Council for Scotland. When you graduate, you’ll be ready to register as a primary teacher. A rewarding career in education awaits you.
A Primary Education degree from the University of Stirling prepares you to teach across the whole primary age range. Our course also enables you to specialise in an aspect of primary education that interests you most.
You’ll pick a specialism from one of these six options:
* Early Years
* Environment
* Inclusive Practice
* Literacy
* Modern Languages
* Numeracy
These specialisms can help to expand your knowledge in a particular area. For example, if you choose the language specialism, you’ll be encouraged to undertake a non-assessed placement abroad. The environmental specialism introduces unique fieldwork and field trips to your course.
