This course will grow your managerial expertise and put foundations in place to ensure you continue developing through your professional life. You’ll also learn how organisations are structured, and gain insight into what makes them function best. Speakers from the industry visit regularly to complement our own research-led teaching – giving you real-world and rounded knowledge of business and the tools needed to succeed in it.

The UK film industry is growing, estimated to increase by 4% from 2022 to 2026 (source: UK Film Industry Statistics 2023) helped by streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime. The industry welcomes all kinds of filmmakers from small studios making indie films, to big companies creating blockbusters. Everyone can find their place in UK film.
The city of Stirling has received funding for a high-tech film studio, which will benefit our students. The new facilities are expected to attract major TV and movie production companies, as well as providing career opportunities for those keen to join or further their positions in the film and media industry.
