On this three-year course, you will develop the knowledge and skills needed to become an audiology healthcare professional. You will combine academic study with hands-on clinical training from day one, building confidence in both theory and practice.
You will learn from practising clinicians and researchers who are shaping the future of audiology, at the only UK university with in-house audiology and auditory implant services. Throughout your studies, practical sessions in dedicated skills laboratories will support your learning.
Your training continues in real clinical settings through a 27-week placement, starting at the end of year two and continuing into year three, giving you the experience needed to prepare for professional practice.

We normally consider applicants who offer at least 1 Advanced Higher. Applicants presenting with only Highers will be considered on a case by case basis. Where Highers are taken over two years it might be expected that higher grades are achieved, particularly in any specific subjects required. International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
Pass, with 32 points overall with 16 points required at Higher Level including a minimum of 5 at Higher Level in a science-related subject. Accepted science subjects include biology, chemistry, mathematics (Analysis and Approaches at grade 5 or Applications and Interpretation at grade 6), physics and psychology. Applications where Higher Level subjects have been studied without the full Diploma, will also be considered on a case by case basis.
