Key Features

* Develop an advanced understanding of state, non-state, governmental and non-governmental actors ‘doing’ international politics in the contemporary world. Learn how these actors perform international politics and how theories and methods can be used to understand their actions.

* Learning Labs are three-hour sessions that will allow you to experiment with different study styles, work on group projects and develop research skills. Blending traditional seminars with fieldwork will provide you with a firm theoretical and practical foundation for understanding how international politics works.

* Study a wide range of political actions beyond institutional forms, with close attention to ‘bottom-up’ approaches, social movements and everyday politics.

* Fully realise your academic potential while immersing yourself in French culture and society for three years. While the course is taught entirely in English, students can take non-credit-bearing French language modules to develop their core language skills, while living in Paris presents countless opportunities to develop fluency in the language and demonstrate your adaptability and international experience to future employers.
