Business with German BA (Hons)

75% Business allows students to develop an in-depth understanding of organisations, management, and the global business environment. This programme develops advanced knowledge across key business disciplines including Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Marketing, Strategic and Operations Management, Information Communications Technology, Accounting and Finance, and Economics.<br/><br/>You will explore major changes shaping modern organisations, while developing strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. The programme prepares graduates with the professional capabilities needed for responsible decision-making and careers across a wide range of business sectors.<br/><br/>Our Minor in German (25% of your degree) enables you to attain a proficient level by progressing through structured and immersive language training. You will take German language from beginners or advanced level, developing advanced skills in writing, reading, speaking and listening, as well as an awareness of regional linguistic variations and the societies and cultures of German-speaking countries. An optional Year Abroad is spent in a German-speaking country as a student at a university, an assistant in a school, or on a work placement.<br/><br/>Combined Degrees<br/><br/>Most Combined Degrees allow you to adapt the weighting of each by 25% after the first year, helping you to keep your options open. Please note, however, students studying either a Business or Economics pathway in combination with another subject cannot increase from 25% to 50% or from 50% to 75% and it is not possible to transfer from a 50% to 75% Law.
