Physiotherapy (Sport and Exercise Medicine) MPhysio

This programme is designed for students wishing to develop knowledge and skills specifically relevant to sport and exercise settings, as well as more traditional physiotherapy environments.<br/><br/>Graduates gain a professional Masters qualification in physiotherapy, opening up a range of career opportunities as a physiotherapist in the sport, exercise and health and wellbeing sectors. It also provides foundation for further research study.<br/><br/>MPhysiotherapy Sport and Exercise Medicine contains all the modules from the University’s highly regarded BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme. This curriculum is extended with additional sport and exercise specific modules and enhanced research.<br/><br/>You will undertake a range of placements in professional and amateur sport settings, including the Universitys Physiotherapy and Sport Rehabilitation Clinic, as well other physiotherapy settings.<br/><br/><strong>MPhysiotherapy - Sport and Exercise Medicine received 100% overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2021</strong><br/><br/><strong>Professional accreditation</strong><br/>This course is approved by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the statutory body for Allied Health Professionals. By the end of your studies, you will be eligible to apply for registration with the HCPC, and will be eligible to apply for full membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
