To give you an intellectually fulfilling experience, our chemistry courses allow you to take 20 credits of elective modules in stages 1 and 2, with subjects offered from across the University such as mathematics, engineering, economics and many more. <br/><br/>In your third year, you will be supported to obtain a 9 - 12 month paid work placement in industry. Here, you will expand on your chemistry skills and develop your transferable skills, preparing you for employment after completing the course. We have strong links with industry and will support and guide you with trying to find a placement.<br/><br/>The fourth year will introduce you to specialist content in medicinal, materials and analytical chemistry. You will also have the opportunity to study a specific subject by choosing to a greater depth during an extended dissertation. As a Bradford Chemistry graduate, you will be uniquely placed to deploy the skills that have developed across the programme.<br/><br/>**Professional accreditation**<br/>Students can apply for membership of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).<br/><br/>**Rankings**<br/>Our BSc and MChem Chemistry programmes received 94% overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey 2020.
