Taught by a dedicated and well-qualified team of academics and industry professionals, the architectural design and technology course is professionally accredited by the [Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists](https://architecturaltechnology.com/), meaning that the curriculum meets the specific needs of the architectural technology industry.
The course will equip you with an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the role of architectural technology and its application across a range of contexts within the built environment, with particular emphasis on digital workflows, sustainability and contemporary construction practices.
Throughout your studies, you'll develop the skills and knowledge that underpin the role of the architectural technologist and architectural designer, enabling you to effectively bridge the gap between architectural design intent and construction technology through collaborative, practice-informed learning upon graduation.
You'll also have the opportunity to work in our architectural studio. Fully-equipped with the latest industry standard software, this modern studio space was developed to give a sense of the feel and atmosphere of a working professional studio, bringing students together from various built environment courses to collaborate as you would in the real-world workplace.
If you’re looking to study our architectural design and technology degree but don’t have the relevant qualifications or experience, the art and design foundation year will help you develop the core skills and knowledge to progress.
