As a joint honours student with Modern Languages you will gain fluency in the languages of your choice - French, German, Italian and / or Spanish. Whether you start at beginners’, advanced or native-speaker levels, you will gain skills in writing, reading, speaking and listening. There is no language requirement for the beginners' language pathway but at least one essay-based subject is required at grade B and only one language can be studied at this level
