Normally A-level German grade B or AS-level German grade B or GCSE German grade B or GCSE grade B/6 in another modern language (not GCSE English Language) Note: if the language is studied at a higher level then the grade required at that level must be achieved. GCSE Mathematics grade B/6 A-level General Studies and Critical Thinking are normally excluded from offers. However, the grade achieved may be taken into account when results are published in August and may be used in a tie-break situation.

33 points overall, including 6,5,5 (German) at Higher Level + if not offered at Higher Level then Standard Level grade 5 in Mathematics or GCSE Mathematics grade B/6.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

Successful completion of BTEC National Extended Diploma (1080 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) at Level 3) with overall grades D*DD. NB Language requirements must also be satisfied - please see A-level entry requirements. GCSE Mathematics grade B/6

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)

Higher level German grade H3 or Ordinary Level grade O3 in German or Ordinary Level grade O3 in another modern language (not English) If Mathematics is not taken at the Higher Level - Ordinary Level grade 03 is required.
