Popular Music BA (Hons)

This programme aims to reflect the reality of the contemporary music industry, preparing you to respond creatively within a range of professional situations. You will develop your own music practice within a variety of professional contexts, whilst also refining your academic skills and technical understanding. You will engage in entrepreneurial activities that will help you prepare for a career in the field of music, such as work in music performance, freelance work and music education.<br/><br/>We have excellent facilities and resources including the latest music performance equipment, a professional music production suite and several practice rooms. You will take part in industry focussed work including simulated or live client briefs to help you gain professional skills.<br/><br/>What’s next? You could progress into employment or continue your study.
