This Foundation Certificate has been designed for students wishing to undertake a Higher Education course in ecology and conservation management on a part-time basis. As a result of this, one of the aims of the course is, to equip students with identification skills and the countryside management knowledge needed for this sort of work. In addition the course is designed to equip students with the pre-requisites to progress onto the final year of the FdSc Ecology and Conservation Management course, to be completed either by full-time or part-time study.
