The 12-month placement gives you the opportunity to put your management knowledge and leadership skills into practice in a real-world business environment, preparing you for a wide range of career paths across different industries. You’ll gain hands-on experience in areas such as operations, strategy, project management, and business development, while also learning how to solve complex organisational challenges and make effective business decisions.

Our Careers and Futures service will support you through every stage, from exploring placement opportunities to writing CVs, preparing for interviews, and developing your professional confidence. Typical placements take place within corporate organisations, public sector institutions, or start-ups, where you’ll actively contribute to business growth and innovation.

If a suitable placement isn’t available, we’ll arrange an alternative professional experience through the Business Transformation module, such as a research project or consultancy challenge, so you still gain valuable hands-on experience.
