Delivered in partnership with Manchester City F.C.’s City in the Community Foundation, the course blends academic study at our Institute of Sport with applied learning at the state‑of‑the‑art Etihad Campus.
You’ll develop a strong grounding in community and sport coaching, applied sports practice, performance analysis, strength and conditioning and sport policy. Alongside your studies, you’ll gain hands‑on experience through work‑based learning with the Foundation, with opportunities to complete professional coaching qualifications and, for high‑performing students, progress onto the BSc (Hons) course.
By the time you graduate, you’ll have the practical skills, industry insight and recognised qualifications needed for a career in sport, from coaching and sport development to teaching support and performance analysis. It’s a degree designed to open doors and help you make a meaningful impact through sport.
