Computer Animation and Visual Effects Bachelor of Science (with Honours) - BSc (Hons)

Our BSc (Hons) Computer Animation and Visual Effects degree throws you straight into the world of high‑end digital creation, giving you access to the same professional‑grade tools used in major film, TV and games studios. You’ll work in a studio‑style environment equipped with powerful hardware, a dedicated render farm, motion‑capture facilities and specialist lighting rigs - an experience and environment that lets you produce industry‑level work from the outset.

You’ll explore the full VFX pipeline across 3D, FX and compositing, learning how to model, rig and animate assets, build advanced simulations and integrate CG seamlessly with live‑action footage. Throughout, you’ll have the creative freedom to develop your own concepts and take them through to polished final shots, building a distinctive portfolio that reflects your strengths and ambitions.

This course is available with a foundation year.
