You’ll spend 50 per cent of your time on placement in hospitals, in the community and in our skills and simulation labs. Placement opportunities include medical and surgical wards, oncology, ICU, A&E, coronary care, operating theatres, district nursing, GP practice nursing and integrated community teams.<br/><br/>The course’s core themes are nursing professional values, quality of life, diversity, anti-discrimination, medicines management, safeguarding, life sciences, managing relationships, self-awareness and reflection, nursing skills, ethics, and law.<br/><br/>You will gain experience in an area of London or Surrey which includes placement opportunities within both acute hospital trusts and primary care community trusts.
