Students benefit from guest lectures by industry experts and have the option to undertake an innovative work experience module 'Volunteering in a Technical Role' or to study abroad for a semester through the ERASMUS scheme. The cutting-edge technical skills, work experience opportunities, professionalism and people skills acquired open up a wide range of opportunities for technical posts in the audio industry.
The programme is accredited by JAMES (Joint Audio Media Education Support).
This course is also accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purpose of fully meeting the academic requirements for registration as an Incorporated Engineer.
Graduates can access a broad range of careers within the audio and new media industries such as broadcast engineer, sound engineer, audio technician and games sound engineer.
