Build the skills to design, deploy and manage cloud systems.
Cloud computing sits behind many of the digital services people use every day, from apps, online shopping and streaming to data storage, automation and AI-enabled tools. As organisations move more of their systems and services into cloud environments, they need people who understand how to build, connect, secure and manage cloud-based technology.
This course is designed to help you develop the practical and professional skills to work with modern cloud systems. You’ll build foundations in software, databases, networking and infrastructure before exploring more specialised areas such as deployment, cloud-native application development, security, automation, DevOps, AI and machine learning.
Through practical tasks and project-based work, you’ll have opportunities to design, test and evaluate cloud-focused solutions. You’ll also develop skills in problem-solving, communication, project management and service management, helping you prepare for possible future routes in cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, software development, cloud support and related technology roles.
