The BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography at City St George's is a route into a rewarding lifelong career as a Diagnostic Radiographer. The BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography at City St George's is a route into a rewarding lifelong career as a Diagnostic Radiographer. The course equips students with skills in imaging modalities such as conventional radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography, alongside an understanding of magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound. These techniques are used to support the diagnosis of illness and disease.
Upon graduation, students will be professionally recognised by the College of Radiographers and will be eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) to practise in the UK.

We offer students a unique learning environment, with some of the best-equipped radiography training facilities in the country, mirroring many of the facilities you will encounter in professional practice.

* Spend approximately half your time on clinical placement – recent students have worked at the Royal Free Hospital, University College London Hospital, St Mary's Hospital, the Royal London Hospitals, St George’s Hospital, Guys’ and St. Thomas’ Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Frimley Park Hospital, Royal Surrey County Hospital, and Ashford and St Peters Hospitals.
The course is taught by academics who are experts within the field and many of whom are active clinicians and researchers. Our curriculum concentrates on evidence based teaching and is directly influenced by the research happening within the department which is informing radiography policy and practice. We have long standing and close links with radiology departments in hospitals, the radiography profession, and industry; all of this offers a challenging yet supportive environment in which to study.
Career prospects for City St George's Radiography graduates are excellent. Many of our students go on to work in leading hospitals in London and throughout the UK and there is also a possibility to practice internationally.

120 points (typically BBB). Must include one of Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Psychology or Physics. In addition to five passes at grade 4 GCSE, including English Language, Mathematics and Double or Triple Science. General Studies, Critical Thinking and Citizenship Studies are not considered.
