Diagnostic Radiography Bachelor of Science (with Honours) - BSc (Hons)

The BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography at City St George's is a route into a rewarding lifelong career as a Diagnostic Radiographer. The course equips students with skills in imaging modalities such as conventional radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography, alongside an understanding of magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound. These techniques are used to support the diagnosis of illness and disease.

Upon graduation, students will be professionally recognised by the College of Radiographers and will be eligible to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) to practise in the UK.

The course is taught by academics who are experts within the field and many of whom are active clinicians and researchers. Our curriculum concentrates on evidence based teaching and is directly influenced by the research happening within the department which is informing radiography policy and practice. Career prospects for City St George's Radiography graduates are excellent. Many of our students go on to work in leading hospitals in London and throughout the UK and there is also a possibility to practice internationally.
