The BA (Hons) Post Production & VFX provides aspiring filmmakers with the technical skills and knowledge needed to prepare them for a successful career in the screen industries. Taught by industry professionals, the programme focuses on post-production editing, sound recording and mixing, visual effects (including 3D animation), and managing workflows.
You will gain a solid grounding in screen grammar fundamentals and professional practices through integrated curricular teaching, as well as extracurricular activities and opportunities.
Students on the course will engage in an integrated learning experience, and through structured and formative opportunities to work on group projects across cohorts, they will develop the creative peer relationships essential for success in the screen industries upon graduation.
We organise a series of events throughout the year where screen professionals tell their stories. In these sessions, a Guest Speaker is invited into the school to speak about their career and experience in the industry.
