Our extensive industry links mean that some module content is delivered by active legal and regulatory professionals.<br/><br/>**Why study this subject?**<br/>The global aviation industry is heavily controlled by a complex series of local, national, regional and international regulations and laws set by the International Civil Aviation Organisation – a master’s degree in this subject will equip you with a critical understanding needed to work in this area.<br/><br/>It is suitable for those currently employed within the industry, or aviation, business and economics graduates who wish to specialise and develop expertise in this field.<br/><br/>**Why study at Buckinghamshire New University?**<br/>Our MSc in International Aviation Regulation and Law will give you the skills and knowledge you need to learn how to apply global aviation regulations within the industry, as well as focusing on contract law, commercial law and civil law.<br/><br/>Throughout the course, you will learn from skilled lecturers within the School of Aviation and Security who have a high level of working knowledge based on industry experience. Our tutors will give you the practical, managerial and intellectual skills to use within aviation regulation and law roles.<br/><br/>As well as receiving top-class lectures and seminars, students are also supported by personal tutors, module leaders and course leaders. In addition, students often have the opportunity to engage with external experts to enrich their learning and understand current and emerging trends.<br/><br/>Our collaboration with ICAO and the CAA, ACI Europe, and our wide network of associate contributors, will also provide you with the opportunity to gain the unique insights that you’ll need to be able to contribute to highly effective regulatory and legal management.<br/><br/>To aid your learning, you’ll take part in simulation-based activities to develop team and individual capabilities in the face of challenging scenarios. There are three specialist, technical modules (Airline Regulation and Law, Airport Regulation and Law, Airspace Regulation and Law) which aim to equip you with a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory and legal frameworks which underpin the industry.<br/><br/>These are then complemented with two academic and professional development modules (Aviation Research Project and Air Transport Management and Leadership).<br/><br/>Weve invested in a range of state-of-the-art facilities across our campuses to support your learning.<br/><br/>Our library is the perfect place to find the resources you need and a quiet place to study, filled with four floors of books, journals, computer suites and study rooms.
