You’ll choose modules from a broad selection in areas such as sustainability, entrepreneurship, creativity, digital skills, personal growth, civic engagement, health & wellbeing and employment. Opportunity modules are designed to enable you to develop outside the traditional boundaries of your discipline and help you to further stand out from the crowd to future employers.<br/><br/>**What will I study?**<br/>If you’ve got a keen interest in the business side of the airline and airport sectors, then look no further than Aviation Management. Providing the perfect blend of topics including, operations, planning, design and management our degree with equip you with the skills required by employers across these industries. You’ll gain a strong foundation of legal knowledge and an understanding of the broader social, economic and political contexts within which the law operates.<br/><br/>**What facilities can I use?**<br/>We’ve invested in a range of state-of-the-art facilities across our campuses to support your learning. Our specialised simulation facilities allow you to experience real-life airport scenarios, developing your abilities in airfield planning and operations, and crisis and emergency management. We have access to the FlightGlobal software programme. We are classed as an Educational Establishment with Airports Council International Europe through our membership, giving you free access to the latest aviation news and developments. We’re part of the London Heathrow Skills Partnership – this means what you study is influenced by the UK’s largest airport and you’ll be one of the first to hear about opportunities.<br/><br/>**Career prospects**<br/>Roles in aviation management are vast and varied and upon graduation, you’ll be ready to work in a wide range of roles including: import/export management; customs management; supply chain management; airport or airline operations; safety and security management systems; inventory supervision/management; purchasing management; stock controlling; key account management; project logistics coordination; network planning and scheduling; business development; pricing analyst/management.
