The Pearson BTEC Leadership and Management for England HND Level 5 is a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) that has been approved against employer developed standards, also known as occupational standards.
Fulfil your aspirations and progress into a career within the business sector! Gain valuable knowledge and practical skills in business communications, operational planning and management, accounting principles, marketing and more. You will develop a wide range of business knowledge, transferable skills and practical skills through research, independent study and workplace scenarios, to prepare you for future management roles that require personal responsibility and decision-making, including operations manager, regional manager, divisional manager, department manager, and specialist managers.
The Leadership and Management HND Level 5 is a two year course. During your first year, you will study a Level 4 HNC. Upon successful completion of the first year, you will then progress on to the second year to study the Level 5 HND.
Throughout this course, you will develop confidence in areas such as:
Gaining business knowledge and practical skills through research, independent study, directed study and workplace scenarios
Learning transferable skills, such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis
Learning the concepts of leadership and management
Preparing to enter employment into roles that require personal responsibility and decision-making
