BIMM Universitys practical Cert HE courses offer an introduction to the dynamic disciplines of games development. <br/><br/>The CertHE Animation introductory programme designed to equip you with the foundational creative and technical skills required for further study or entry-level roles in the animation and visual effects industries. Focused on both 2D and 3D animation, the course introduces you to industry-standard tools, core animation principles, and real-time workflows used across film, television, and games.<br/><br/>Through hands-on projects and collaborative practice, you will explore key areas such as character animation rigging basics, and performance-based animation. With a focus on practical making of animated works, the course prioritises creative experimentation, iteration, and production of short animated sequences to build confidence and fluency in animation.<br/><br/>Delivered within an inclusive and supportive learning environment, the course is structured using a Universal Design for Learning framework, ensuring accessibility for students from a range of backgrounds and experiences.<br/><br/>Students who successfully complete the CertHE will be well-prepared to progress onto Level 5 of the BA (Hons) Animation or related creative technology programmes or develop their skills at their own pace.
