On our Adventure Sport Science course you will develop a solid theoretical knowledge in sport performance, exercise physiology anatomy, biomechanics, sports coaching, nutrition for sport science and sport psychology, then put into practice what you’ve learned.<br/><br/>Driven by the latest scientific research, our BSc (Hons) Adventure Sport Science adopts an evidence-based approach to maximise physical potential: anything from improving speed and agility or performance in extreme environments, to endurance and weight training, and prevention or recovery from injury.<br/>You’ll gain an understanding and appreciation of fundamental aspects of applied sport and exercise science. This will encompass research, testing and investigation, client safety, welfare, industry legislation, instruction and coaching within a range of populations and environments.<br/><br/>‘Placement Year’ and International Experience Year’ options are available for this course. You will have the opportunity to fully consider these options when you have started your course at Bangor and can make an application for a transfer onto such a pathway at the appropriate time.
