BA (Hons) Live Events Production will prepare you for an exciting career in live experience and entertainment by introducing you to the technical, design and management areas of live events.
*Following the award of New Degree Awarding Powers (NDAPs), the Academy is reviewing its courses to ensure they remain current, relevant, and aligned with industry and academic standards. As part of this process (called Periodic Review), elements of course content, delivery, or assessment may be updated.*
*Where any changes may affect your studies, we will provide clear information in advance and offer opportunities for feedback where appropriate.*
In your first year, you’ll gain a strong understanding across a range of technical, creative and production management disciplines. In the second year, you will choose two subject areas to focus on. In your third year, you’ll choose just one pathway to specialise in.
With four distinct pathways for you to choose from, you can choose to specialise in the following areas:
* Lighting for live events
* Live sound
* Live visuals
* Event business
Whether you’re interested in lighting a stage, projecting stunning visuals or running an events business, this degree allows you to focus on your chosen subject area whilst developing an underpinning knowledge of all four key areas. You’ll graduate as a specialised yet well rounded live events professional.
